This policy explains how to request account deletion for the Panocle AI mobile application and what happens to your data when you delete your account.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Panocle AI account, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Panocle AI app on your mobile device
  2. Navigate to Settings → Privacy Settings → Delete Account
  3. Copy your User ID from the dialog that appears
  4. Send an email to wecare@panoculonlabs.com from the email address associated with your account
  5. Include the following information in your email:
    • Subject: "Account Deletion Request - Panocle AI"
    • Your User ID
    • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
    • Any additional requests regarding your data

Alternative Method:

If you cannot access the app, you may email wecare@panoculonlabs.com directly with:

  • The email address associated with your Panocle AI account
  • Your full name as registered in the app
  • Confirmation of your deletion request

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon successful verification of your deletion request, the following data will be permanently deleted from our systems:

Account and Profile Data:

  • User profile information (userName, aiName, userAge, userOccupation, userUseCase)
  • Language preferences and selected agent profile
  • Device pairing preferences and Bluetooth identifiers

Location Data:

  • Precise location coordinates collected while using the app

What Data May Be Retained

Legal and Compliance Requirements:

  • Data required to be retained by applicable laws or regulations
  • Data necessary for legal proceedings, investigations, or compliance audits
  • Anonymized usage statistics that cannot be linked to your identity

Technical Data:

  • Anonymous telemetry data (if you opted in) that uses random session IDs and cannot be linked to your account
  • System logs and security records (retained for security and fraud prevention purposes)
  • Usage data

Retention Periods

  • Account deletion processing: 30 days from request verification
  • Legal compliance data: As required by applicable laws (typically 1-7 years)
  • Security logs: Up to 2 years for fraud prevention and security purposes
  • Anonymous telemetry: Indefinitely (cannot be linked to your identity)

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • You will lose access to all app features and any personalized settings
  • Data deletion may take up to 30 days to complete across all systems
  • You will receive confirmation once your account and data have been deleted
  • You can create a new account at any time, but previous data will not be restored

Local Device Data

Deleting your account will not automatically remove data stored locally on your device, including:

  • App memories and vector embeddings
  • Cached images and audio files
  • Local app settings

To completely remove all data, you should also:

  1. Uninstall the Panocle AI app from your device
  2. Clear any cached data in your device settings

Policy Updates

This account deletion policy may be updated periodically. The current version is effective as of 2025-01-10. Continued use of the Panocle AI app after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
